Programme highlights:

Thursday 26.04:

Get-together with peers of the Shopfitting Industry. Filippo Moneta was after 2 hours close race found the absolute fastest “Michael Shopmaker” at the 2007 Formula Go-Cart Grand PRISO.

 

Friday 27.04:

Business visits to SCM, one of the World’s leading shop furniture manufacturing plant producers. 2 machine factories, and 2 furniture factories, using their plant and automation.  

Spouses visited Ravenna, glass mosaic center of the ancient Roman Empire and caught the Cable Car to the “top of the World”.

Dinner and famous Sangiovese wines at the Nido del Falco in the mountain peak Republic of San Marino. A breathtaking view of the sunset and the Adriatic coast from the glass walled restaurant.

 

Saturday 28.04:

ISO Congress, business seminar:

The economic reports of the Shopfitting Industry in the Member countries.

Presentation of EUROSHOP 2008 and Stores + Shops Magazine.

China study tour, Poland Incentive Tour*)

50 years of shopfitting – what’s next? Interesting lecture about shopfitting’s past, present, and very much future by Filippo Moneta, Logika, with a special insight in Italy.

 

Spouses tour to the Saturday market in historic Rimini, not only arches, bridges, ruins and “The fish Market” but bargains in shoes, fashion, gadgets…..

Lunch altogether in Fratelli la Bufala in the new, great Le Befane Shopping Mall.

 

Anniversary celebration Dinner & Dance, prizes and entertainment.

Past ISO presidents Morten Grøn-Hansen, Uffe Faerch, Kees Benschop and Mark Edmonds were honoured with “P.P.” medals. Greetings from p.p. Jacques Labigne and Paul Meyer were red, Mark, who’s father was the founding president of ISO 50 years ago, was elected ISO’s first honorary member ever! Moneta, Brand and Hermeling were celebrated as the fastest shopfitters in the Grand PRISO Go-Cart race with medals and cheers (the champagne already wasted Thursday).

A fantastic, original South American Tango performance, organized by Sergio Campiani, retired from Cefla, showed that passion is not only shopfitting! A great evening and end to 2½ days of intense business and pleasure.

 

Sunday 29.05:

Good bye after breakfast. Going on in Italy or home with lot’s of new experience, new friends, new inspiration, new wisdom.
